I know it's been a while, so shoot me.

I know I haven't blogged for a long while. I have a life (well not really but a pretend life).

First I want to wish my youngest daughter
HAPPY BIRTHDAY I CAN'T BELIEVE YOUR 40 OMG!

Do you know how old that makes me feel.

Have your read "The Color of Home"?
Now that your sister has blogged about my life your turn is next. I wish you luck.

I wanted to show the world my candy Christmas Tree. That is why I decieded to blog tonight.

So here is my favorite Christmas Tree. I started collecting candy type ornaments several years ago. Now most of the ornament on the tree and the garland looks like some type of candy. The Grandkids love it, I think.

Take a look and tell me what you think.

That tree ROCKS!! Yes I love it. And I know Monkey Girl and Alleycat do. Monkey Girl was even talking about it the other night when we were getting decorations down for our tree.

That is the happiest tree I think I've ever seen.

It makes me smile.

I love it! I like "themed" trees - and what could be better than a candy theme, I ask you?

I love theme trees too. I try to stick with my gold ornaments and then all my vintage ornaments we inherited from hubby's parents.

Your tree looks fantastic! You like a full too. I think the full ones look better.

Have a wonderful Christmas!

The tree is only 7 & 1/2 ft tall but I have over 1300 lights on it. I don't like trees that are so full that the ornaments won't hang. I do like my ornament to hang freely.

There will be real candy canes. The Life Saver brand which are all colors and flavors. I think they are the prettiest candy canes.
